This semester, YouthInkwell is hosting—

Writing Contest!
The requirements for the contest entail that the story be 500 words or less and take place in the future in a world where winter does not exist. This story must be written by students grades 3-12 and can be of the science fiction genre, suspense, or even memoir (i.e. the author places themselves as the narrator in the future). While participants are not required to type their submissions, please keep in mind the importance of having a neat presentation.
Entries must be received no later than
Friday, February 9th, 2007.
Any entries received after this date will not be considered.

Two first place winners will receive a $1000 scholarship to YouthInkwell Writing Studio. Two runner-up recipients will receive a $500 scholarship to YouthInkwell Writing Studio.
