About Me:

Hi, I am Sarah Chen and I am eleven years old. I love to speedskate and play ice hockey. In my free time, I love to read, play with my friends, and cycle with my family. I have one nine year old sister and a sevey year old brother. Together in the house we like to play hide 'n' seek. I recently joined the YouthInkwell "gang" this summer.

About Glyde:

Glyde is a sixteen year old girl who is saving the world!! Okay, maybe not actually saving the world. Glyde has the power to freeze different items and roller blade on them. She first found out she had powers when her P.E. teacher was being a real jerk. He was making a girly girl run two miles, when we all knew she would throw up after one. She concentrated on ice and all of a sudden a thin layer of ice appeared on the ground. She thought to herself, "I will teach that guy a lesson!" Then, when he ran, he slipped and broke his ankle. Ever since then, she tried not to get angry. She decided she'd become a nerd as her secret identity. She was at the Pasadena Ice Skating Center one Monday night, taking slap shots. Two people were in her way - Word and Driver. "Get out of the way!! I don't want you to get hit!" she screamed.

"We know."

"Know what?"

"Your secret."

All of a sudden, she had a thought, she can save the world. From then on, her life has gone downhill. Just kidding.
